Airport Options
There isn’t a true nonstop flight option into Beaufort, but the good news is that the drive is easy and often a really enjoyable way to take in the NC coast if it’s your first time here. We’ve listed a few airport options below with approximate distances.
Coastal Carolina Regional New Bern (EWN)
Coastal Carolina Regional New Bern (EWN)
New Bern is the closest commercial airport to Beaufort, approximately a 50–60-minute drive away. While there are no nonstop flights, most routes connect through Charlotte.
Raleigh-Durham International (RDU)
Raleigh offers the most nonstop flight options, but it's about a 2-hour, 45-minute drive. We recommend coordinating flights and rental cars with other guests!
Albert J Ellis Jacksonville (OAJ)
Recommended for guests traveling from Atlanta, with nonstop Delta flights and a shorter drive to Beaufort than from Raleigh, at approximately 1–1.5 hours.
Wilmington International (ILM)
Wilmington typically offers more nonstop flight options than EWN or OAJ and can be a more affordable alternative. It's about a 2-hour drive to Beaufort, but the drive is easy!
Where To Stay
The Beaufort Hotel
The majority of our wedding weekend events will take place at the hotel, with transportation provided to and from the Welcome Celebration. We would love to have all of our guests stay under one roof, but if you need alternative accommodations, please reach out to Paige or Scott, and we’ll be happy to help.
NYE is a popular weekend in Beaufort, so we recommend reserving your hotel room as early as possible. The hotel has a generous cancellation policy if your plans are still uncertain.
