Beaufort sits along North Carolina’s Crystal Coast - an 85-mile stretch of shoreline also known as the Southern Outer Banks.

Historic waterfront towns, barrier-island beaches, and a protected coastline make up this scenic corner of North Carolina. While Beaufort and Morehead City anchor the mainland, Atlantic Beach, Pine Knoll Shores, and Emerald Isle stretch across the barrier islands.
